Valentine Colors
You'll need: White paper, various shades of tissue paper (preferably reds, vinegar, paint brush
Instructions: Have the children begin by cutting or tearing the tissue paper into small pieces. Place all the small pieces in a pile. The children then paint vinegar over the entire sheet of white paper. While the white paper is wet with vinegar, place the different colors of tissue paper onto the white paper. Cover the entire sheet of white paper with the little pieces of tissue paper. Allow to dry. When the paper is dry, the tissue paper will fall off and the children will be able to see that the tissue paper bled onto the white paper. You can then leave it as it is or cut heart shapes out of it.
