Valentine Action Poem
You'll need:
Instructions: (with children standing in a circle)
"I'm gonna wrap myself in paper" (turning around in a circle while staying in one place)
"I'm going to dob myself with glue"(using hands, pat your body all over)
"Stick some stamps on top of my head"(patting the top of your head with alternate hands)
"I'm gonna mail myself to YOU!" (pointing at yourself then pointing to another person in the Group)
**Variation: I like to let one child at a time say the poem,after they learn the words well. And as they get to the last line, they point to another child in the group when they say "YOU!" and then sit down,and the choosen child says the ryhme next, until everyone is sitting.
