Milk Carton Turkey Basket
You'll need: One rinsed and dried milk carton for each child, brown construction paper , scrap paper in many colors, white glue
Instructions: Measurements:
One rinsed and dried milk carton for each child
and brown construction paper cut large enough for the children to trace around one of their hands and then cut it out
brown strips of paper cut 2" by 9"

Clean and dry the milk carton,then cut them down to the crease so there is a square open box with no top. Put a strip of brown paper around the sides of each box and staple it on. Have each child trace around his/her hand on a piece of brown construction paper and color each finger a different color to make the feathers. Staple the hand on one side of the milk carton. Have each child draw a head or use one you have to ditto and have cut out. Glue head to the opposite side of the carton. Then have children tear small pieces of colored scrap pieces of paper to paste on the other 2 sides of the carton to finish the turkey with may colors of feathers. Putting in some Easter grass and adding a pipe cleaner handle makes a cute basket.
